Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in an Emergency Medicine setting
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform a range of medical procedures, including suturing, splinting, and intubation
- Manage patient flow and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- Active state license
- Board certification (BC) required
- 12-hour and 24-hour shifts
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Ability to manage a high volume of patients (15 patients in 24 hours)
- Experience with suturing, splinting, incision and drainage (I&D), foreign body removal, chest tubes, intubation, and central lines
- DEA registration
