Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Valet Parking Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless outstanding experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out processes while providing information about hotel amenities.
- Safely handle guests' luggage, transporting it to and from rooms promptly, and offer assistance with carrying luggage and providing information about room features.
- Collaborate with the valet parking team to ensure smooth and efficient parking and retrieval processes for guests' vehicles, adhering to company and safety standards.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure coordinated guest services, relaying important information about guest preferences and special requests.
- Monitor entrance areas for suspicious activity and report concerns promptly, adhering to safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and their belongings.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Customer service experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass background checks and motor vehicle record (MVR) checks.
- Capability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds.
- Preferred but not required: ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle.
- Ability to use personal cell phones for work purposes.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Physical ability to lift and transport luggage, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
