About the Teaching Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Elementary Teacher who can adapt their instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Your expertise in elementary education, special education, and classroom management will enable you to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic excellence and social-emotional growth.
  • Plan and implement a personalized program of study that addresses the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Engage families to support student achievement and communicate individual progress in a non-threatening manner.
  • Collaborate with the student support team to address behavioral and mental health needs.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess or be eligible for a valid Delaware teaching license and certification in Elementary Education and Special Education. Strong content knowledge of elementary education, including special education, is essential. Additionally, you should be able to perform essential job functions, including exerting between 20-50 lbs of force, and maintain accurate records as required by law and district policy.
