Job Description

As a Field Service Technician III at Vets Hired, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility infrastructure. Your duties will include obtaining meter readings, investigating and resolving issues with meter equipment, and performing underground utility reports. You will also be responsible for connecting and disconnecting services, delivering collection notices, and performing damage assessments during storms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain meter readings and investigate issues with meter equipment
  • Perform underground utility reports and damage assessments
  • Connect and disconnect services
  • Deliver collection notices and collect payments on delinquent accounts
  • Perform routine meter exchanges and maintenance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
