Job Summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, a leading 3PL company, is seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems, including conveyors, dock doors, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Identify and report potential maintenance needs and issues
  • Perform plumbing and electrical maintenance tasks as required
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels for facility supplies
  • Provide support and assistance to other facilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with automation and pneumatics systems
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
  • Previous experience working on warehouse machinery and equipment
  • Previous experience with drywall, mechanical, and electrical work
