In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the architectural design of a prominent application within a cloud DevOps setting, leveraging available UC2 and UC2S (AWS) services. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, development, and oversight of teams tasked with constructing the application, utilizing UC2S and C2S services alongside third-party solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technical teams in translating high-level epics into actionable stories.
  • Supervise infrastructure operations and provide guidance as needed.
  • Manage backend/API team operations and offer direction as necessary.
  • Oversee backend/UI team operations and provide support as required.
  • Design and integrate DevSecOps practices into the project.
  • Serve as a technical representative in customer meetings, Requirements Review Board (RRB), Change Control Board (CCB), and lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB).

Essential Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in implementing solutions on C2S architecture.
  • Active TS/SCI w/FSP clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable business software.
  • Proficient in architecting and building IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with Java, Spring, and Angular frameworks.
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Expertise in designing highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems related to data storage and computing.
  • Experience with AWS technologies (S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, CDK, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of C2S storage solutions including S3, EFS, and EBS.
  • Familiarity with software design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed architectures).
  • Experience with database replication and transaction processing.
  • Proficient in data management utilizing AWS services.
  • AWS Solutions Architect experience.
  • Agile Scrum methodologies experience.
  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration concepts and tools (Bamboo, Jenkins).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
  • Linux and Windows system administration skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting.
  • Understanding of IT compliance and risk management (security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.).
