Lansing Building Products is seeking a skilled CDL A or B Local Straight Truck Driver to join our team in Rockaway, NJ. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering building products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a straight truck to deliver building products to customers in a timely and safe manner
- Load and unload products from the truck, using a moffett forklift as needed
- Interact with customers and crews at job sites to provide exceptional service
- Work independently with efficiency and focus, and as a contributing member of a larger team
- Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements, and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- CDL-B (or A) license is required for this position
- Must have a minimum of one year driving experience with a clean driving record
- Have moffett forklift experience (will train as needed)
- Ability to lift boxes weighing as much as 80+ pounds
- Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
- No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years
- $26-$28 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed
- Overtime eligible position (overtime is not guaranteed)
- Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

- 8 paid holidays, 6 days paid sick time, and 12 accrued paid vacation days
- Health and Wellness program and Tuition reimbursement program
- Home every night
- Monday through Friday schedule, generally no weekend work
- Shifts typically start between 7:00 AM (sometimes earlier) and end at approximately 5:00 PM
- Late model trucks with back up cameras
- Fleet is automatic
