Position Title: Front End Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Tier 1, 2, & 3 help desk escalations via tickets or phone.
- Proficient in desktop support for both Windows and Mac environments.
- Familiarity with SCCM, including patch management and troubleshooting on affected machines.
- Install and maintain Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, desktop and laptop networking (wired and wireless), and software issues on Windows and Mac OS.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop applications and tools.
- Possess technical knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
- Configure and troubleshoot Office365 suite, Adobe, Zoom, and standard applications.
- Understand file and folder permissions.
- Install and troubleshoot printers and manage various types of scanners.
- Configure and manage network printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
- Travel to client sites as necessary.
- Resolve LAN connectivity issues and utilize IT Service Management Tools like ServiceNow.
- Take ownership of queries, issues, and problems assigned to the Desktop Support team.
- Collaborate with vendor support, Service Desk Level 1, and Desktop Engineer Level 3 teams to resolve technical issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Route tickets to appropriate support groups when necessary.
- Identify and escalate high-priority issues effectively.
- Provide timely updates on pending tickets.
- Follow up with end users and support groups for ticket closure.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Communicate with staff or clients to ascertain specific system requirements.
- Analyze requirements and develop design concepts or modifications.
- Document design specifications, installation instructions, and system-related information.
- Verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of system architecture.
- Collaborate with engineers or software developers to ensure compatibility of system components.
- Provide technical guidance for system development or troubleshooting.
- Identify necessary system data, hardware, or software components to meet user needs.
- Guide customers or installation teams in implementing secure systems.
- Monitor system operations to detect potential issues.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an Associate Degree with two years of technical support experience, or at least four years of technical support experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with Linux OS is preferred.
