Medical Laboratory Technologist I PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist I PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for processing and testing laboratory specimens, reporting results, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-analytical activities related to laboratory testing, including general and analytical equipment maintenance, function checks, and documentation.
- Collect and process biological specimens, and perform quality control and calibration performance.
- Perform all expected tests and analytical procedures for assigned department or work area efficiently and accurately.
- Participate in proficiency testing and adhere to federal and state regulations, as well as institutional policies.
- Report results and provide technical and support information related to laboratory testing for all age groups.
- Associates' degree in medical technology or related sciences with state licensure if required or appropriate national certification.
- Must hold a certification from one of the following: Medical Laboratory Scientist (American Society for Clinical Pathology), Medical Technologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology), Medical Technologist (American Medical Technologist), Medical Technologist (American Associate of Bioanalyst), or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor through AMT.
