Senior CAD Software Engineer

About the Role
CAD Engineers at Apple play a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our products and services. As a CAD Engineer in our Silicon Technologies group, you will be responsible for developing and supporting automated infrastructure that enables our Post-Silicon teams to manage eFuse, EMAs, and Test Patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support multiple post-silicon infrastructure systems used to manage eFuses, EMA, and Test Patterns.
- Evangelize and promote these systems across all Apple Silicon design teams.
- Create documentation and provide training to our internal customers.
- Continued engagement with our internal customers to improve workflows and systems that meet their needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Perl, Python, or C++ programming languages.
- Experience in contributing to large-scale infrastructure from specification, software development to deployment.
- Minimum requirements of BS degree + 0 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with knowledge in Post-Silicon infrastructure, software engineering practices, and customer support. If you have experience with agile development methodologies, code review, automated builds, regression testing, and revision control systems, that's a plus.
