Powder Coater/Painter

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater/Painter to join our production team at Nivel Parts and Manufacturing Co. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to products using a handheld spray gun, preparing parts for paint, and inspecting finished parts for quality.

• Powder Coating: Apply powder coatings to products using a handheld spray gun, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Part Preparation: Prepare parts for paint by cleaning, sanding, and applying a chemical wash as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring they meet our high standards.
• Maintenance: Maintain and clean all equipment in the powder room, ensuring optimal performance.
• Team Support: Offer support to other departments as needed, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Skills: Proven relationship-building, communication, and decision-making skills, with effectiveness in a fast-paced team setting.

• Lifting: Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds, frequent lifting of 10 pounds or less.
• Pushing and Pulling: Frequently push and pull up to 50 pounds of force.
