Position Overview

We are seeking a Mobile Sterile Processing Technician who will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our surgical operations. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of sterilization processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize knowledge of sterilization methods to decontaminate, assemble, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Assess equipment functionality to identify operational adequacy and differentiate between user errors and equipment issues.
  • Provide support across various departments, assisting in decontamination and sterile processing as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with surgical staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in managing departmental inventory and uphold knowledge of regulatory standards, including AAMI and ANSI.
  • Contribute to the training and development of team members and new hires.
  • Adhere to company policies and complete all required training.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in workload management while meeting operational expectations.
Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Sterile Processing Technician certification
  • Experience in instrument processing and sterile processing

This role may require working in both office and clinical environments, necessitating the use of a computer and telephone. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
