Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

LRS Healthcare - Cardiopulmonary is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in our Cardiopulmonary department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements:
  • LA license required.
  • NICU experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.

LRS Healthcare - Cardiopulmonary offers a competitive pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
