Job Overview

This role is responsible for managing client relationships, generating repeat business, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, advocating for customer needs and driving success.
  • Perform customer onboarding, periodic business reviews, and proactively alert customers of impending issues.
  • Identify risk and consult with customers to recommend best course of action for impending issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Sales teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and business operations.
  • Develop and improve processes to engage customers and provide recurring value.
  • Communicate with the Sales Support Manager, Directors, and District Sales Managers to gain an understanding of Del Monte's current and future supply of each product line.
  • Advise customers on the advantages of different products offered.
  • Manage, enter, and maintain sales orders.
  • Assist with order rejections and resolution of claim approval process.
  • Process customer credits, deductions, pricing issues, etc. into the appropriate systems.
  • Work with the Office Staff and Office Manager to resolve delivery discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Send notifications to operational departments to ensure customers receive requested products on time.
  • Drive internal process improvement initiatives.
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer issues by coordinating responses when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3+ years of prior experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Able to work well under minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, etc.).
Preferred
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English.
