About the JobHost Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, preferably in a travel nursing setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
