Bridge Technical Talent is seeking an experienced HL7 Interface Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces between healthcare systems.

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong understanding of HL7 standards, XML, CCDA, FHIR, JSON, and Web services. Your experience with interface engines such as InterSystems IRIS for Health, Iguana, or Mirth Connect will be valuable assets in this position.

In this role, you will collaborate with vendors, department managers, end users, and business analysts to capture user requirements and define workflows. You will design logic flows, build data transformations, and develop interface scripts using various tools and programming languages.

You will participate in interface projects by providing analytical and technical guidance to team members and project managers. Your excellent troubleshooting skills will help resolve issues that arise during implementation.

This is a permanent full-time role located in Providence, RI, with the option to work remotely two days a week. We require a BS or BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. A minimum of two years of experience as an HL7 Interface Analyst or equivalent position is preferred.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • HL7 standards, XML, CCDA, FHIR, JSON, and Web services
  • Interface engines such as InterSystems IRIS for Health, Iguana, or Mirth Connect
  • Experience with Ancillary systems such as PACS, Voice Recognition Software
  • Knowledge of Healthcare systems such as Epic, Meditech, Quest Diagnostics
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
