Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the dining area, bar, kitchen, and service stations for optimal operation during service hours by completing all assigned opening and closing tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas before peak dining times.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the menu and other relevant information such as operating hours and payment methods.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote daily specials, menu items, and various promotions.
  • Provide professional service to guests in alignment with training protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in service areas throughout the shift.
  • Assist team members and cross-serve as necessary.
  • Transport service trays between the kitchen, bar, and dining area.
  • Process customer payments accurately and manage cash transactions responsibly.
  • Report any health or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Restock items in the dining area and bar as needed, notifying kitchen staff and management of any shortages.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively presenting information in small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:

Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations and the ability to interpret data such as rates and ratios.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and resolve issues with limited variables.

Work Environment:

This position is typically in a loud environment, requiring adaptability to various noise levels.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and using hands for extended periods.
