We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Loan Specialist II to join our team at Bank OZK. As a key member of our consumer loan origination process, you will be responsible for educating applicants on our loan products and ensuring a complete and compliant loan application.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with applicants to determine their current and future needs and goals, and provide guidance on our loan products and services.
- Maintain contact with applicants throughout the loan process, providing regular updates and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Provide regulatory disclosures as required, and effectively communicate with bankers, underwriters, and documentation specialists.
- Perform a thorough evaluation of loan applications, gathering all necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies.
- Order verification documentation and collateral services as required, and manage the loan process timeline to ensure timely closings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of customer service or call center experience, and two years of work experience in the consumer loan origination process.
- NMLS certification or successful completion of the NMLS process within 45 days of hire.
