About this Job Opportunity
As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse with Trustaff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and a caring bedside manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric critical care
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of recent experience in pediatric intensive care unit nursing
- Active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
- Additional requirements and certifications as requested by the specific facility/unit
