As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Stratford Manor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of residents, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work closely with our experienced Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using a variety of techniques and modalities to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
* Measure and record residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance
* Observe residents and write progress reports
* Assist residents in carrying out specific exercises and treatments
* Treat residents with various techniques, including stretching and massage
* Educate residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve mobility
* Maintain residents' confidentiality and adhere to federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited PTA program
* Current State PTA license
* Experience in long-term care settings preferred
