Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine, complex, and specialized nuclear medicine procedures and/or PET imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET imaging, to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a wide range of nuclear medicine equipment and computers.
  • Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA/QC, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system (PACS).
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Previous healthcare experience, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within six months of hire.
