About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with physicians to provide patient care, education, and communication. You'll also have the opportunity to follow patients through the entire birth process, from labor and delivery to postpartum care.
Responsibilities- Provide care and education to OB patients and newborns
- Demonstrate good assessment skills and utilize critical thinking
- Focus on best practice and demonstrate complete and thorough documentation
- Work closely with physicians to provide patient care
- Demonstrate good communication skills in communicating with physicians, co-workers, and patients
- Help maintain the department and assist with tasks related to the unit
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A current Wisconsin RN license
- Current CPR certification
- STABLE certification within 6 months of hire
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire
- ACLS certification within one year of hire
A minimum of one year OB experience is strongly preferred, as well as experience in the EPIC computer system.
