Job Description

As a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in leading and directing a team of pharmacy staff, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Safety: Oversee the implementation of safety protocols to prevent medication errors and ensure a secure environment for patients.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to controlled substances and patient confidentiality.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current active pharmacy license in the state where you are employed.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
