Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

Talent4Health is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Alaska.
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on pediatric and adult intensive care units.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
