Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Leader Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Leader. This position is responsible for providing competent and compassionate nursing care to patients and families, as well as coordinating the nursing program and activities for the Pediatric Gastroenterology Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and organize the provision of care by members of the nursing team and medical assistants
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and treatment plans
  • Supervise and work with the nursing team to triage patient phone calls, laboratory call-backs, and manage EPIC In Basket
  • Coordinate, quality, and execute patient care activities such as nurse visits, documentation, and nurse triage
  • Serve as a clinical resource for practice staff, processing prior authorizations and obtaining necessary medical information
  • Work collaboratively with the Pediatric Ambulatory Nurse Leader and MGH Ambulatory Management team on matters related to nursing practice and standards of care
Requirements:
