About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Home Health team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients manage chronic conditions or recover from injury, illness, or surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and direct speech/language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities
  • Develop and review treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, and apply therapeutic treatments to address speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders
  • Provide instruction and training to patients on alternative communication systems, as needed
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports as required
Requirements
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a speech therapist or speech-language pathologist
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • Current and unrestricted license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
