Job Summary

Moving Mountains Therapy Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients of all ages who are exhibiting speech, language, hearing, voice, fluency, or swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Family-Centered Care: Uphold our mission to provide family-centered care, cultivating a culture of inclusion and growth for the clients you serve and the team you work with.
  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Evaluate patients to determine their specific speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing delays, and/or disorders, and develop and implement treatment plans to address these issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and write reports detailing initial evaluation, progress, treatment, and discharge information in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient, and advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.
  • Progress Monitoring and Adjustment: Monitor patients' progress continually and make treatment plan adjustments when needed.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their family members on speech-related topics, including coping strategies for communication problems, and techniques for improved communication, and provide a home-care program for optimal generalization into patients' daily lives.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties, including case management activity schedule, lesson plan creation, paperwork filing, etc.
  • Continuing Education: Participate in continuing education courses, additional training, conferences, and other activities designed to further develop your clinical skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Ability to hold an SLP license in the State of Montana by your start date (limited or full license) - Clinical Fellows will be considered.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work well with diverse populations, enjoyment of collaboration with families, teammates, and community partners, and current Montana Speech-Language Pathology License or ability to obtain licensure prior to hire date.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a background check, current driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle, and current CPR/ First Aid certification preferred or completed within 90 days of hire.
