We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at Corewell Health Hospital Royal Oak. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to incorporate patient-family centered care principles.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care principles.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree or higher.
- Active license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with preference given to candidates with experience in intensive care units.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Specialty certification highly recommended after 2 years in specialty.
