Nurse Specialist in Spinal Disorders

We seek a compassionate and skilled Nurse Specialist in Spinal Disorders to join our team at the Northeast Georgia Health System. As a registered nurse with advanced expertise in spinal disorders, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for patients with complex conditions.

About the Role:

  • You will work collaboratively with our experienced multidisciplinary team to assess patients' complex needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • As a registered nurse, you will administer medications, perform minor procedures, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • You will also provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities and Performance Expectations:

  • Evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide individualized care and interventions to address these needs.
  • Document all aspects of the nursing process accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Associates degree in nursing or higher.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally (0-30% of time).
  • Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and bending frequently (31-65% of time).
