Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen relationships with prospects, family members, influencers, and referral sources through education, solution-providing, and trust-building.
  • Qualify prospects from clinical, situational, and financial perspectives and apply strategic tactics to convert them into admissions.
  • Actively promote our organization to maintain a positive reputation within the medical community and general community.
  • Identify new programs and services to meet changing market needs.
  • Reach and sustain targeted SNF occupancy goals through corresponding activities.
  • Build relationships with case managers, discharge planners, social workers, key clinicians, surgery schedules, practice managers, physicians, specialists, and community influencers.
  • Maintain a consistent visible presence in these locations to increase immediate referrals and top-of-mind awareness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Manage SNF inquiries in tandem with the Admissions Coordinator.
  • Conduct pre-admission on-site assessments to further relationships with prospects and referral sources.
  • Provide accurate information from pre-admission assessments to inform admissions decisions.
  • Maintain awareness of admissions criteria and special circumstances.
  • Work proactively with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to create strategies to overcome admission obstacles.
  • Visit hospitalized campus residents and remain in daily contact with referral sources, patients, and family members.
  • Participate in SNF marketing plans, including identifying new sources for patient referrals and executing strategies to reach targeted census goals.
  • Participate in SNF-related special events for prospects, referral sources, families, and the community.
  • Spends a minimum of 80% of time performing outside sales and marketing-related duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Health Administration/Business.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare or senior housing industry.
  • Familiarity with community resources and the process of identifying access qualifications, admission criteria, and completing procedures to initiate service/care.
