Houseman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Houseman to join a private household in Beverly Hills. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining the home's condition and working collaboratively with other household staff to ensure all duties are carried out efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall condition of the properties, including repairs and installations as needed.
• Ensure outdoor tasks are completed, including watering plants, sweeping patios, and cleaning outdoor furniture.
• Maintain the vehicles, including servicing, fueling, and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot electronic equipment as required.
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and managing deliveries.
• Set up and break down for events and parties.
• Provide exceptional service to all residents and guests.
• Ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the residence, including bedrooms, living spaces, and common areas.
• Maintain a professional, discreet demeanor, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for residents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Houseman or in a similar role within a private residence or luxury hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong references from past employers.

Work Schedule

• Generally, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet the needs of the principal.
• Occasional evening and weekend assistance for events and parties.

Compensation

• $40-50/hour depending on experience, plus a 401k, health insurance, paid vacation, and a uniform allowance.
