Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
- Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
- Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
- Current licensure to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to completion of orientation.
