Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Earn a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Atrium Health Charlotte.

About the Role

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patient requests and verify orders on each assigned patient.
  • Properly identify patients using two identifiers and assist them during procedures.
  • Interview patients to obtain medical history and review electronic medical records.
  • Administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols.
  • Evaluate image quality and consult with radiologists when necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate degree from an accredited program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. Additionally, ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine is required, along with advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
