Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Attendant to join our team at the City of Milbank SD. As a Building Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service to patrons, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the safety and security of all patrons and employees in the facility
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any hazards or safety concerns
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Assist with special events and programs as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures
Working Conditions
