Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team in Marinette, WI clinic. As a key member of our dermatology team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our dermatologists in delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Rooming patients and documenting vital information
  • Scribing information for the dermatologist
  • Providing post op wound care to patients
  • Drawing blood and suture removal
  • Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Assisting with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, electrodessication, curettage, I&D, Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, phototherapy, injections, Koh preps, trichograms, Tzank preps, dermabrasion, and patch testing
Qualifications
  • Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
  • Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations to continue employment
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Must possess organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
