Job Summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled Patient Navigator to join our team in Pembroke Pines, FL. As a Patient Navigator, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide genetics education to high-risk patients and their families.
  • Coordinate registration and scheduling for genetic testing appointments.
  • Collect specimens for genetic testing and ensure accurate processing.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, radiologists, pathologists, and referring physicians to ensure seamless communication.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 1 year of certified medical assistant experience in imaging, preferably in a genetics or cancer-related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
