We are seeking a skilled and passionate Music Instructor to join our team at Guitar Center. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music.

Job Description

As an Instructor, you will:

  • Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
  • Communicate with students or parents of students on progress of each student (where applicable)
  • Assist with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience

You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. If you have a passion for music and a desire to share it with others, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of work experience in Music, Education, or related field or Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to pass Guitar Center specific training and certifications
  • Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard)

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K plus company match, mental health support, paid sick/holiday/vacation time, employee discount program, and tuition reimbursement options. Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
