We are seeking a highly skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our team at OSI Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ammonia refrigeration equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration equipment, including pumps, compressors, and condensers.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration system performance, including temperature control and chemical levels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operation of all equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with 2-5 years of hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration equipment.
- Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration best practices, including policies, procedures, and processes established by OSHA, EPA, IIAR, and other regulatory entities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
