Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team at ImageCare Radiology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our medical team during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patients for interventional procedures, including explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  2. Operate imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional purposes.
  3. Assist the interventional radiologist by providing real-time imaging guidance during procedures.
  4. Prepare and maintain sterile fields, handle instruments, and assist with catheter placement and other technical aspects.
  5. Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  6. Work closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and procedural plans.
  7. Perform and process routine x-rays.
  8. Address patients' needs and questions as they arise in a professional and courteous manner.
  9. Verify patient information and exam orders prior to procedures.
  10. Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with referring physicians and radiologists.
  11. Maintain accurate and timely performance of procedures.
  12. Perform US guidance IV catheter placement.
  13. Maintain patient film file records in our EMR and on site as needed.
  14. Verify exam information and images with EMR orders and physician preferences.
  15. Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training.
  16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • ARRT Certification (Required)
  • NJ State Radiologic License (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
