This is a Full-Time Weekend Option role.
Compensation:
Base salary supplemented by an additional $11/hr plus shift differentials.
Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapist at Mercy Health Center, you will operate under the guidance of the Rehab Therapy supervisor, adhering to departmental protocols for referrals and treatment standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting objective assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will provide direct supervision to patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians, as well as general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with state regulations. Your work will reflect our mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must possess a current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice or be registry eligible. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required.
- Licensure: Valid Physical Therapy license in the applicable state.
- Certifications: BLS certification is mandatory, and all required certifications must be current prior to independently caring for patients.
- Preferred Experience: A minimum of six months to one year of experience is preferred, particularly in rehabilitation settings with adult and geriatric patients.
- Physical Requirements: The role necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing and walking are required, along with the capacity to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as part of your duties.
