Key Responsibilities:
As a CNC Applications Engineer, your primary focus will be on part programming for CNC machine tools, process enhancement, and providing customer training in an industrial setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in pre-sales activities, which encompass customer consultations, opportunity evaluations, machine assessments, and the formulation of comprehensive turnkey proposals.
  • Generating precise cost estimates, drafting engineering documentation, and interpreting technical plans and specifications.
  • Programming and configuring CNC lathes and both vertical and horizontal CNC mills.
  • Creating and executing tailored demonstrations while training clients on the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers and lathes.
  • Maintaining extensive technical knowledge of the product lines offered by the company.

Additional Duties:

Qualifications:

  • A robust hands-on machining background with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with HAAS controls and experience with builders or distributors is advantageous.
  • Proficient working knowledge of CAD/CAM software is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication abilities are required.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated regional territory.
