Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team at Advanced Radiology. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for leading a team of mammography technologists and ensuring the highest quality patient care and imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of mammography technologists and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and imaging results.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mammography equipment and procedures meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the Training Mammography Director to develop and implement training programs for mammography technologists.
  • Image Review and Quality Control: Conduct routine and ad hoc image reviews to ensure that imaging results meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Workflow Efficiency: Collaborate with technologists to develop and implement efficient workflows that ensure each imaging center meets or exceeds productivity measures and daily volume expectations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: ARRT(R) (M) certification and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mammography technologist, with a proven track record of leadership and quality assurance.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
