Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at La-Z-Boy Incorporated. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging customer experience, providing exceptional service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Achieve or surpass sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of La-Z-Boy products, features, and benefits, and be able to communicate this information to customers.
  • Design and Consultation: Collaborate with customers to design and create comfortable and functional environments that meet their lifestyle, taste, and budget.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is well-maintained, and all systems and administrative procedures are executed properly.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, effective communication skills, and customer service.
  • Other: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Requirements
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in using various technology tools and software.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk frequently.
  • Repetitive Motions: Nearly continuous use of repetitive hand motions, hearing, and listening.
