  • Document all work performed, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in medical device maintenance, ensuring the hospital's equipment remains current and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's degree in a related field, such as biomedical engineering or electronics.
  • At least three years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory, safety procedures, and medical device maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clinical staff and other stakeholders.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with regular exposure to medical equipment and potentially hazardous materials. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a variety of settings, including operating rooms and patient care areas.

Compensation

Salary is based on level and requirements of the role, with a range of $121,243.20 to $137,446.40 for a 1.0 FTE position.
