Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Position with Competitive Salary

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Special Procedures Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.
As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies. You will work closely with physicians to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines.
- Set up sterile trays and maintain sterile field, adhering to hospital protocol.
- Assist in interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications, their actions, side effects, and contraindications.
- Start and maintain IV access, as needed.
- FOLLOW physician orders, document completion of exams in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- OR, a current license or registry of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)]
- BLS required; ACLS training within 6 months of hire
- Strong interpersonal skills, ensuring effective communication with patients, guests, physicians, and colleagues
