Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lunar Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Lunar Transportation business unit, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing spacecraft structures that meet safety and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze load paths from conceptual design to hardware creation
  • Develop and refine Finite Element Models to validate structural integrity
  • Conduct strength checks and generate analysis reports
  • Support configuration development and trade studies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural analysis with loads and dynamics environments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in structural static/dynamic fundamentals
  • Passion for spacecraft structural/environmental loads development/validation
  • Ability to solve complex structural problems using physics-based analytical methods
