At AMN Healthcare Allied, we're committed to delivering quality patient care that continually evolves. Our dynamic team is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our ranks for a 13-week assignment at Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln, Maine.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity requires a highly qualified professional with expertise in computed tomography technology. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, capturing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of internal structures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and radiation doses
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current Maine license or eligibility
  • Covid-19 vaccination and compliance with immunization requirements
  • Dual modality experience with both Radiology and Computed Tomography
  • Prior experience as a CT Tech or related field
