Position Overview

As a key leader in the Surgical Services department, you will oversee the daily functions of surgical suites, ensuring excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. Your role will involve providing direction and support to the surgical team while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage operating room (OR) activities, serving as a specialist in the designated service line(s). Facilitate effective communication between the OR and other departments.
  • Identify and address challenges impacting patient care delivery within the assigned service line(s). Ensure adherence to established processes for safe and efficient health service delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and staff to enhance operational workflows, optimizing the use of equipment, supplies, and personnel.
  • Maintain clinical expertise and be prepared to step in as a frontline staff member when necessary.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of team members.
Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration: Relevant certifications required.

Education: Appropriate educational background necessary for the role.
