Housekeeping Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Coordinator at Bloom at Belfair.

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will work closely with our housekeeping team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, resident rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards.
• Follow user directions for all compounds and chemicals, including proper proportions, label them properly, and store them in locked storage areas.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners as needed, and dispose of trash in proper receptacles.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, etc.
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture and equipment.
• Replenish supplies, linens, and bathroom items.
• Report any repair needs to the Housekeeping Director.
• Observe for resident safety when in resident care areas.
• Report any issues or problems that may arise to the Executive Director.
• Comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in housekeeping or maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic and its applications.
• Knowledge of principles for providing customer and personal services.
• Sanitation and safety knowledge, including handling housekeeping tasks and equipment.
