About the JobThis is a full-time opportunity working day shifts at one of our facilities. As a Senior Cardiology Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities on designated shifts. You will work closely with our team of registered nurses, patient/student nurse technicians, and housestaff to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Under the direction of manager, plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a unit on a designated shift.
- Perform direct patient care as needed and function as clinical resource to nursing and support staff.
- Assess, plan, evaluate, and document the nursing process of assigned unit as needed.
You will also facilitate identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into the ambulatory care setting. Your expertise will be essential in critically assessing patient data to proactively mitigate impending changes in condition and establishing consults to interprofessional teams as appropriate.
